We were brought into this project as part of a team taking part in the renovation of the public areas of 28 floors of the hotel. Over the course of eight months, we completed a series of jobs:
Doors to the Suites: as part of the renovation, the doors to the suites were replaced. Any door that had been previously decoratively painted on the inside had to have its finished recreated on the inside of the new door. These finishes ranged from simple glazing to distressed oak and bamboo.
Elevator Doors: we pinstriped and hand-stenciled 96 elevator doors.
Suites: we take part in an ongoing series of renovations which require reglazing damaged rooms to match previously executed finishes.
