how we work
Estimates * We will come to your office, home or jobsite to review the specifics of the project and to present our portfolio. We will work with you to estimate the scope, timeframe and cost.
Sample boards * Each job begins with the development of sample boards based on the colors and finishes requested. Woerth Street Studio can also provide an extensive library of custom finishes to provide inspiration and to help you find a look that suits your taste and budget. Three sample boards are included in the price of each room.
Deposits and contracts * A 50% deposit is required when a sample board is chosen. We will then sign a contract and schedule the job. While we can schedule a time slot without a deposit, the deposit must be received before we can reserve the time.
Prep and basecoating * Most of our decorative finishes are created on a surface that has been prepped, primed and basecoated by others. We can either work with your straight painter or recommend one. We can also direct, supervise, and provide quality control of the base painting, leaving your time free for more pressing concerns.
Changes and add-ons * For any job change that will result in an additional fee, we bring the matter to your attention and prepare a revised estimate for your approval. Our estimate prices are firm. As a result, our final invoice is surprise-free.
About the crew * Depending on the size and schedule of the job, I either work by myself or with my team of artisans, who are fully trained professional fine artists. I will work on your jobsite every day and will never send someone to take my place, ensuring that your project is closely attended.
Insurance * Woerth Street Studio carries full liability insurance.
